* A playful tribute to the sea, not a sea-trial. The ship handling, tides and port are simplified for fun and curiosity, real berthing is far more complex. Not a simulator, navigation aid, or training tool.

India's gateway giant

On the north shore of the Gulf of Kutch sits Mundra. India's largest commercial port. It handles roughly a third of the country's container trade, around the clock.

The giants, and the wait

When every berth is full you anchor offshore and wait your turn. The Gulf's 6-metre spring tides mean deep ships ride the high water in, a tidal window.
